They sit there drawing out the drinks while they sit “man, I wish you had something you could tell me from your past,” Emily said “well, we can always talk about you,” he said with a pleasant tone, “as much as you would like that I would like to talk about anything else than that” Emily said “we could always sit here quietly and wait “ Heather says.

   “did you know that the Slotch tree is varied adaptable and can grow in any environment, but the only reason you don’t see them everywhere is that there hard to breed and don’t grow too fast, “ Castel says with a natural tone “that is weird but thanks, I’m sure you know that the demon kin can heal faster then humans, and even when fighting it is hard to injure one when they fight .it is as if they were made for battle, “ Emily said. “And I’m sure you know normal when demon kin picks a human for a mate; it is usually for life. Witch is not the case when they mate with each other, like Pish here if I were male demon kin she would have mated with me and been Marley on her way” he says “ that is the way most of us demon kin work though we do not know why” Heather says wisely.

   “ and I’m sure you know when a demon kin gets pregnant, they actually can take more punishment before getting hurt, so I’m guessing from how long they lasted during the battle with the last pact master: Heather and slither are probably pregnant with your children,” Emily says wisely but sounding upset and jealous “ yeah, and I’m sure you know demon kin mind and s****l attraction are quite Flexible, and they tend to like to be with any gender,” he says “there is one thing I’m sure you don’t know, and that is why some people can form a pact with only one or two elements, and they can’t be opposing, the only exception to this is duel souls and pack master like you.” He nods. “I don’t. Think anyone knows why that is, so it does not count,” he says. She laughs.

   “ so, how did you form a pact with Heath? He seems to dislike humans,” he asks “ well, I’m a bit unsure as to why it happened, but one day I was playing in my backyard, and he tried to attack me; when we first touched, the pact was formed, Heath was quite upset he has been watching over me ever since” he nods he was she no one knew the real reason pacts were formed other then it was a blessing of the god of light. The pact master was a blessing to the god of darkness. “So, do you know how many pact masters there are in the world,” he asks. Emily shakes her head. “I’m sure there are a great many who could be pact masters, but some just chose to live a simple life,” she says, looking like she wants to say more.

   “ok, talk Emily, what is on your mind, “ he asked with a calm tone saying he wanted to know what she thought “well, I do not think you meant to live a simple life Castel, I know you don’t like to talk about it, but I think you meant to find and take on the demon lord, just look at you you already have three pact demon kin,” she said with a calm tone” ok let’s steer clever of that topic for now, but I will think about it,” Castel said waving her off.

   “ok, and I’m sure you know, but demon kin doesn’t usually attack the injured unless it is in self-defense “ yeah, and I’m sure you know a demon kin’s skin color says what element. Though there are some exceptions, “ and I’m sure you noticed, but humans tend to like mating more with their kind than they do with demon kin, and it’s not because of personal reasons ether, it is because s*x with humans is better to humans, and demon kin mating with demon kin feel better for them “Emily says “mating with Castel feels nice, and my I’m sure my insides chose him for a reason, but yes it felt better matting with a demon kin” Pish say sounding a bit sad.

   “so I wasn’t your first s****l partner,” he said. She shacks her head “you’re not even the first to put a child inside me; you are my first lifemate, though,” pish says, “well, you were my first time,” Heather and slither say at once. They look at each other and shrug “so Heather, what is your story” he asks “well, I grew up in the town you found me in, I left my mother as soon as I learned my name and joined the town guard to support my self, I I also did hunting for the town I ran into Emily shortly after left home, and we have been fast friends ever since then. However, just a little while ago, we became lovers. Other than that, my life has been pretty boring, “ Heather says “ what about you slither ?” Castel ask.

   “ I would rather not like to talk about where I grew up unless I have to, and right now I don’t have to, so I’m not going to talk about it,” Silver says firmly “ well, there is nothing I can talk about my self. Though I just learned, I’m not from this world. Though I kinda selected that when Pish first met me,” Castel says, “ so what do you want to do?” Emily asks. He shrugs, “ I know, thanks to that slate, that I can do some pretty interesting things . Though I’m just having a problem deciding what I’m going to do,” he says. She nods.

   “ well, do not take too long to decide. After all, you may miss something in your life if you take too long, “ Emily said . “ we can still go off into the forest. Live from day to day,” Pish says with a hopeful tone “ look Pish, I’m not sure I can do that either,” he says, unsure of himself. Well, it was no use how much he thought about it, for now, he just could not come to a decision. “ it’s not like I want to so wish-washy it is just things have been happening too fast for my liking, I mean I just started my life to my recall not too long ago. I only know how I am, other than that and all this random information in my head is confusing, “ he says

   The others nod” I know that, but you at the age when most people know what they want to do with their lives. Still, I understand, so take your time,” Emily said causally. He knew she wanted him to make up his mind already, but quite frankly, he did not know enough about himself to make a good decision, and he did not want to make a hasty decision. He sighs “ I just wish I knew more about myself,” he says, “ well, I know one thing about you,” Emily said, looking him over “ oh, and what’s that?” He asks

   “ you have some strange taste in clothes just what is a nerd and how do they rule, and what is Nike and why is it comforting, “ Emily said to ask about his clothes “ I don’t know, the only reason I ware this stuff is that it is my only connection to my past.” He said, “ well, you don’t have to get rid of the clothes, but you are a fool for not getting new clothes when you had the chance,” Emily said, “ who needs clothes,” Pish said, pulling at her shirt and pants but not taking them off.

   “ look, clothes are not that bad phis one gets used to them. And they’re good for keeping people from staring at you,” Heather says “ yeah, and they’re good for holding in the heat to” Slither says, “ yah, and that does not answer my other questions like why doesn’t your clothes rip when you’re in battle” he asked trying to puzzle that out.” No one knows it just doe not happen often, “ Emily says with humor.

   He rubs the bridge of his nose “ there are a great many plants that demon kin can eat to both restore stamina and increase their rate of healing,” he said, changing the subject” Yah. There are many things that demon kin can eat that are inedible to humans” Emily says, “ Time Ebbs and flows, days come and go. Our bond is important, “ Pish says happily “ thanks, Pish, but I know demon kin are not good at conversation, “ Emily says, patting Pish on her webbed hand. “ the sea is deep, the fish there harty, and most are good for eating,” Pish says
